how to get activation for preinstalled MS Office

Any help for a guy that’s not a computer genius would be greatly appreciated.
I just bought a new laptop with Windows 8 and it has Office 2010 installed but just needs an Activation Code. I have downloaded Office 2010 files from the Apps section and have the KM Spico file, but I need a KeyGen…is there anyway to just get an activation code because I can’t seem to get what I need to open Office files.

You should uninstall it and do a fresh office 2013 install, 2013 can upload to the free online services not just office 365

You can just use either of these with 2010

Just install whatever .NET Framework is needed and disable any anti-virus apps (as they quarantine the KMS activator)
