How to back up games and movies

July 25th, 2016

I have a question about the collection of pc games and movies that I have. Those are retail titles, bought at the store. But in order to get rid of clutter and free space I would like to back it up on the computer. What are the best ways to put movies and games on a hard drive?
1) will copying game files and applying (no cd) crack and patch work just as getting whole big content?
2) should it be iso file or just a folder?
3) what is the best application to convert dvds into a high resolution mkvs which seems to preserve most of the movie quality? i’d like to get rid of all junk and have it all in one place, thanx

Answer #1
Cracks etc usually end up doing more harm than good
Answer #2
I am kinda lost to be honest. Backing up games won’t give you more HDD space, uninstalling them will.
