how much is my laptop worth?

Hi, it’s a Samsung np550p5c/550p7c, i5 core 3210M, 8GB ram, 1TB HDD, JBL speakers, built in webcam and running windows 8 *genuine!*, I have the box and guides, what’s it worth?

well, I paid �235 for my old laptop that I broke and took back, it was originally �250 but I got it for �235. the laptop broke because I booted Ubuntu, only way to fix it was to put a new mobo on it. then I paid extra �100 for this laptop in exchange for my old one, so basically I paid �335 what you think it’s worth?

Selling for in-between �300/400 on eBay secondhand. A few selling for less around the �250 mark so it’s not lost too much value.

thats cheap for what its bought mine was 469 euros and had the 8gb ram and tb drive in it

Kindly explain. There is no way an OS damaged the mobo.

I’m just saying what I saw on google. apparently, there’s a driver in Ubuntu/Linux that messes up Samsung laptops (some models, not all.) so if you boot Ubuntu/Linux, you can’t do nothing, you can’t enter bios, it just shows a “boot menu” with Ubuntu, you can’t boot back in to windows. I put the HDD in to my desktop, formatted it, put it back in the laptop and the “boot menu” showed nothing. I took the laptop to bits, removed the cmos battery and still, it didn’t work.
the only “fix” that I know of was to get Samsung to replace the mobo.
google yourself, Ubuntu/Linux will brick your laptop if done wrong.
