How do I get rid of Norton?

July 26th, 2016

I recently bought a machine that unfortunately came with Windows Vista. Now I am trying to install Kaspersky but I cant seem to be able to disable, uninstall or otherwise remove Norton. Anyone know how I can get rid of Norton?
Answer #1
I guess u need the “Norton removal tool”
Answer #2
You can just uninstall it with the inbuilt Vista uninstaller. Start–>Control Pa–>Uninstall program (under programs)–>uninstall the thing you need to remove and that’s it. Also, you can remove it with appz like “Your Uninstaller!”. Good luck mate ^_^

1. why buy it if vista is sooo s**t?
2. why buy a computer that had norton on it if its soooo s**t?
3. use the norton removal tool, even though the Windows uninstaller works to remove it, Norton still leaves some bits behind which can conflict with other AV.
Answer #7
norton leaves update files and other things when you uninstall it so use the norton removal tool.
