How Do I Get My Windows 7 to recognize Russian Language

coz all i see is : ������������

Download the Russian language pack from optional updates.
Start – > Control Panel -> System & Security -> Windows update -> ## Optional updates -> Check the ” Russian Language Pack ” box -> Ok -> Install updates. Cheers~

i dont see any russian pack box

Umm then click ” Check for updates ”

it only pops up with 4 updates and theres no lanuage pack
it recognizes Russian on one forum but not on other one

then…I don’t know lol..Windows 7 usually has all the language packs available on the optional updates list.
EDIT – Try this :
View -> Character Encoding -> Auto Detect -> Russian~
