not possible… however i have seen it done with the Iphone… but it will show up on your accout, you will have used way to much data usage and they will find out and either charge the hell out of you or shut your phone off

What do you mean? I dont really get what do you want to say.

it is certainly possible, i use my Ericsson v630i also as a modem….
Basically what it’s doint is setting up a virtual connection via bluetooth (COM4) and it’s sending AT commands to the phone.
U can send these commands yourself via HyperTerminal or you can search for a high-level programming api that u can use.
For example there is an api by ActiveExperts but there are many more out there…

To go on what is saying, laptops use lots of bandwidth, way more than any phone. So by using your phone as a modem you are risking your phone’s contract. Most likely what will happen is they will terminate your contract and slap you with all the fees along with it if you use it often. An average phone will use about 1GB or less of data a month. A laptop will use 1GB in about an hour depending on what your doing.
