How can I hide Bookmarks?
September 24th, 2013
I am using Firefox 8
write them down on a piece of paper and remove them from your bookmarks.
Why would someone use private navigation but have bookmarks toward it. (If you type www. it wil automaticaly pop uw as sugestion when it is in your bookmarks). Hiding them in your history isn’t a good idea ether…
If they must use your computer create a separate guest account for them, Otherwise lock your workstation whenever you leave it.
Link Password - Password Protect System For Bookmarks And Links.
Do you sometimes need, and password-protect individual bookmarks or link.
Perhaps a link to a secret site that no one else will be able to follow.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/link-password/
it can password protect your bookmarks and change the icon and name of the bookmark entry so even if someone typed www. in the address bar you protected bookmarks won’t show up with the real link only fake like (yahoo or wikipedia etc)

That looks pretty useful – thanks for sharing.
Just make a backup file. You can restore them whenever needed.
