Firefox/IE Bookmarks

I’m reinstalling my OS and would want to keep my Firefox/IE bookmarks, how do I store my Firefox/IE bookmarks?

Look on the options. Both should have the export bookmark feature.

So I backup my bookmarks and reinstall my OS and restore the bookmark file back and all my bookmarks should restored back?

yes of course it can restore your bookmark after complete install OS

IE:

Backup the favorites folder from one of these locations:
c:\documents and settings\username\ (XP) or c:\users\username\ (Vista/Win7)
FF

Backup the mozilla folder from one of these locations:
c:\documents and settings\username\application data (XP)
c:\users\username\appdata or appdata\roaming (Vista/Win7)
Exporting the FF bookmarks alone is a plain bad idea (will not save the icons!)
