Hosts and DNS Client

I’m using quite a long list of hosts file.
And i read that to increase performance, need to disable DNS client.
Yeah, i notice a bit slow down when using big hosts file
But the problem is, when i disable DNS client in services, i notice that i cant access ~ Dead file host ~ and .org. maybe there are more sites, but this 2 are the most important to me. Hmm. And when i enable it again, i can access it..
Any clue ?

have you tried manuel enter dns addresses in internet protocol i have both dhcp and dns client disable. but using xp no clue if same on 7
