Hosting, Emails and Using Gmail to send-as (non Alias)

January 30th, 2020

I am really confused an I might be mixing up a lot of things here, so please bear with me. I have my domain name (hosted with Godaddy). There’s a bunch of people who work with me and I want them to be able to send and receive emails from their own Gmail account using the domain name (e.g., Steve@corporate.com). Now, Gmail has this annoying “sent on behalf of [steve@gmail.com]”, unless you can set up an SMTP server.
And here’s my issue — Godaddy charge a lot of money just for the privilege of using their SMTP server (I don’t really need their webmail service). Is there a way to get the same function for free / lower price?

Yea, GoDaddy is terrible. If you want cheap cPanel hosting, shoot me a PM, I will take care of you…
