help with files

i downloaded spore and its in four parts,
When i try to open any one of the parts – the fourth part is just a .nfo file that i can open
i get this error
“Error: unable to read from
“C:\Users\Patrick\Downloads\1gb_spore.part1”
ect.
how do i unrar these, i need to mount them

like you said you need to unrar them…. install winrar which you can get here. then right click the .part1 and hit extract. The reason you can read the .nfo is because it is only in the .part4 with the game being split amongst the other three.
if that still doesn’t work then your .part1 might be corrupt and you need to re-download it
To mount them you can use alcohol 120 or daemon tools

What You Do Is To Go To Your First Rar Part File And Then Right Click And Go To Extract Files, And This Will Open Up A Window Asking Where You Would Like To Save The File, Then When You Decide Where To Save It To, Then Hit O.K!!! You Will Then See Winrar Extracting The Files Which Will Create An Iso Or Whatever, Then You Can Burn To Disk !! Hope This Helps!!!

no like i cant even open them lol

Looks Like There Corrupted Or Winrar Has Become Corrupted!!! You Will Have To Download The Files Again Or Uninstall Winrar And Install It Again!! Thats All I Can Advise For You!!! Sorry I Cannot Be Of More Help To You!!!

one thing before redownloading them all is to check the file sizes fore each part… parts 1->3 should be the same, so if only one of them is different then that is the problem archive otherwise like said you have to redownload them

Try this :
Open winrar -> locate the RAR that you believe is corrupted. Highlight it then go to “tools -> repair archive”
