Help unlocking iPhone 4

I recently got an iPhone 4 and its on firmware version 4.3.3 and baseband 04.10.01. I googled around for half an hour and was bombarded with all sorts of different software, tutorials and much outdated info. I have read that baseband 04.10.01 cant be unlocked but is there a way to downgrade or change the baseband so it can be unlocked?

You can unlock it ONLY with GEVEY MicroChip…. No software unlock and NO there is no BASEBAND downgrade…

Well it all depends if they are willing to do that. If your contract is over then they must do that, but not all network carriers will do that, they don’t give a ~censored~ about it!

Its not on contract, its on pay as you go. A friend of mine got was on o2 and he got his unlocked via the carrier, Ill have to do the same. Thanks guys.
