Help Required in HT Prob

Today i downloaded SiSoftware Sandra 1st time and when i used it i saw that my processer is HT here is its screenshot but it is disabled as shown in Fig 2


can anyone help me with this how i can enable it
i am using Windows XP SP3 Updated till OCT 2008
Processer 2.80 GHz
Board Intel 82865 G
RAM 1 GB DDR 1
Warning W234 - You are using a Hyper-Threaded system (HT/SMT) on an operating system (OS) that either does not support it or does not support the total number of logical processors of the system. Thus Hyper-Threading is not properly utilised. You may as well disable it.

pfoa is kinda hard dont know your laptop type but if you have a desktop PC you can share the camera with me and i will see exactly how it looks and how to enable it.

no option in My BIOS about HT it is Dell GX270 Desktop Slim

If there is no option in the bios…That means your bios does not support HT…Or you need a bios update…

get CPU-Z (google it’s free) and post screenshots of the mainboard & CPU tabs
that may tell us if the mainboard is capable of HT (think it is with an 865G chipset)
and a bios update may be what you need, and CPU-Z should tell what bios version you have

all looks right
you sure there’s no option in the BIOS, that’s the only way to enable it
the bios’s I’ve seen detect if it’s available and offer the option automatically
you tried “reset defaults” in the bios or the “reset CMOS” (19-RTC reset jumper (RTCRST)) jumper on the mobo

Yes Bro i am sure there is no option in BIOS about enabling HT
i tried to Get Help from Dell Support but they are saying we can’t help you as you are NON US Citizen (wtf )
there is no option anywhere
Intel Claim that 865 G PE is HT enabled Processer
Also 2.80 GHz Processer is HT Enabled Then i don’t know why this option is not available in BIOS
