[Help] Problem With Guitar Hero 3 (PC)

I downloaded guitar hero 3 from this site (thankyou dj1sly) and installed everything correctly. I tried to run the game (tried two different cracks and tried the original GH3.exe) but to no avail. I get one of two messages
Guitar hero 3 has encountered an error, windows is searching for a solution
Seems to be the typical error message, as usual with windows, it doesn’t ACTUALLY help with anything. The other message i get is this.
Emulator detected!
Please deactivate virtual drive and emulation software
I’m not running any emulators, and I have tried a variety of no-cd cracks. If there is anything anybody could help me with, it would be much appreciated. Also, if anybody knows of a working no-cd crack, that would also be great.
If it matters, I’m running Vista 32-bit on one computer and 64-bit on my other.

Ok sir, ( use 32bit Vista ).
First uninstall and clean your computers[ temp folders / registry etc. ]
And install the game, don’t paste any cracks, update the game, with this link;

and apply this crack( I don’t know, give cracks are ok in help section, but it’s a site right? =) )

The game could be simply not vista compatible. Have you tried the app under Win Xp?

Yeah, I’m running it on 32 bit right now. I havent tried it on 64 bit yet but i WAS intending to…
