help: need to post without leaving timestamp

August 1st, 2016

Hello everybody,
I really need your guys’ help here. Any thoughts or ideas are hugely appreciated.
I need to post something on a somewhat public website without leaving a timestamp.
Basically I need to post a small block of text on a somewhat known site (not joe schmoe’s site of weird things) and not leave a trace of when the text was posted.
I was thinking something wiki based, but any user can see changelogs and history. :/
Time is of the essence so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks ,

This is such a sketchy request.
There’s no way to just post to a site that shows time logs and have it not show yours if the option isn’t available. You could make your own site where you can post something (forum, wiki, etc) and find a way to disable the display of when it was posted, then link to it on the site you’re talking about.

Haha I agree that it’s a sketchy request. I’m not doing anything illegal or spamming or anything. I can assure you that.
I understand that I can’t have just my timestamp not show, but are there any websites out there that do not display timestamps or changelogs at all?
I’ve thought about creating my own site, but I need this to be accesible somehow through a search engine even if it were on one of the last few pages of results. Unfortunately a new site would take quite a while to be indexed at all… :/
Please help!

That timestamp is taken on server side, you cant do a thing with that…
Or.. hack, remove code that takes your timestamp (or remove database INSERT code), post…
Answer #5
Any other ideas?
I basically want to post and not leave a timestamp or post with a modified timestamp (as if I had posted a few months ago or something).
Thanks!

Bump!
Does anyone know if it’s possible to obscure wiki history?
Answer #7
It’s not possible, the only way would be to own the site, change the date/time, post, then fix the date/time. It’s teh same as an E-mail header. Nothing you can do to change it.
Answer #8
:/ so the wiki’s a lost cause.
Anybody know a site that does a client side date stamp method or doesn’t timestamp at all?
Answer #9
ttt!
