Help move my wordpress to root directory or help mask it…

October 31st, 2013

I am signed up with amazon s3 and I don’t know the phpmyadmin login info. I want to be able to move the wordpress folder to the root directory. But when I try to get permission to copy the files to the root directory they say I don’t have permission and chmod doesn’t work.
If you are able to mask my website to display my domain name that will be sufficient enough. For my domain website I can’t CNAME my website example www.nerdorgeek.com/example
I just want people to browse my website without having the random url at the top. Please help me!

Well try use ftp and drag all the contents of your wordpress blog into your Root directory as to say all the folders containing “wp-admin” “wp-content” and the rest to the root directory to do this press Ctrl+a to select all of the files.
and drag them to your Root Directory
