Help me with Graphic cards.

I need to buy a graphic card for my little brother. Right now, I’m a little low on cash, so I decided I’d better take a budget card. I’m looking at ATI Radeon 3450 256 MB for now. My brother isn’t a very PRO gamer, but he plays basic games like FIFA and all. So my questions are:
1. Is it a good choice?
2. Will it be able to play games like Crysis?

It’s a HTPC card basically used to play back high definition video and output it to an HDTV etc. Not to be used as a card to play video games. You would do better if you can find something like a 7600GT etc

i think i have purchased Nvidia GeForce 8500GT 512mb this so low price card i think thats an great Graphics Card for games with low budget. it can play COD 4 , Crysis, GTA San Andreas , MOH Airborne erc with full speed i think that is good for you.

yes i sure it can play Crysis. my old GFX card is 256MB Direct X 9 and Pixal Shader is 3 and my old GFX card is playing crysis on low settings and now my New GFX card 8500GT 512 Direct X 10 and Pixal Shder 4.0 support and it can play crysis with high graphics settings.

How come 8500GT runs Crysis on high? its even weaker than 7600GS.

nvidia geforce is a good choice…then try 1g memory specially for the games!

Anyway – Nvidia is a better chose. After all “Nvidia – the way its ment to be payed played.

Buy ATI Radeon 4870 HD. Isn’t very expensive but you can play any games that you like.

First thing . how low does “Low on Budget” mean?? Give us a range….
@blacknight , HD 4870 is around 370 $ , i am pretty sure thats out of his range since hge said low on budget…
i have a Hd 4850 , for 200$ , its a really great card, runs Crysis and almost full everthing……

Go to www.hardocp.com They review a lot of graphic cards and do a lot of benchmarks for the, search Crysis on it, and it should bring up benchmarks about it, show what graphic cards play it best.
