Help me make Google Chrome use the US settings

Google Chrome redirects me to the local version of Google when I search for something or when Chrome makes suggestions.
Chrome also stuffs me with default search engines I find useless. I want the English search engines.
Help me make Google Chrome use the US settings, please.
Google Chrome still in trail stage or beta if you want to call it that….It still half done…Not to be used as a regular browser…Just for testing purpose…

I am aware of that.
Still, I would like to take it for a test drive. Problem is, Chrome is very stubborn when it comes to its country settings.
I tried a lot of things and workarounds and I failed to make Chrome think I am from the US so I can use G.com and all the other features at 100 percent.
