HELP: Installing Windows 7 in DOS
January 23rd, 2020
which folder and file do I have to run at DOS in order to install Windows 7?
Sample:
In Windows XP the location is: “i386\winnt.exe”
What is it in Windows 7?
Thanks..
LOL , Forget about doing that , Just boot from the DVD
I cant boot, dont ask why. long story.
anyway, someone know if theres a cmd to run a setup in dos manually ?
As far as i know what your asking for is impossible , And i’ll ask anyhow , Why?

DVD writer broken, I have the installation on HD
Just get a new one then,They’re cheap , Since it’s urgent just get it from a local store , DL a new win7 copy too unless you kept the ISO
As far as I know, the only way/efficient way to install Windows on a PC is through the BIOS.. aka bootable DVD.
So just replace your HD, that’s all.

The bios is only used to boot the CD/DVD,So i would
say that statement is partially incorrect as what
happens after booting is not bios dependent,You don’t
install windows “thru” the bios , And why on earth would he
replace his HD? makes no sense whatsoever
If you have a usb pen you can use that instead…
tnx guys
give this a go, it looks like it should work.
