Help Installing TurboTax 2009

January 30th, 2020

Does anyone know how to install TurboTax 2009 and avoid getting this error message – “Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 Verification Failed?” Every time I load the install, I always get this screen whenever TurboTax checks for required software

I’ve come across a few online forums / sites discussing ways to fix the problem such as these

But none of those forums / sites fixed the problem. I have uninstalled Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 with Revo Uninstailler and reinstalled it and that didn’t work. I also tried a repair and didn’t that work either. I tired TurboTax’s repair utility and that didn’t work either.
For anyone with any ideas on how to fix this please let me know. This is becoming a very frustrating issue to deal with. I am running Vista Home Premium with administrator privileges.[/code]

I had problems with .net framework also, don’t know how to fix it, but you can use H&R Block TaxCut software. TaxCut does not use .net framework ! ! !
Here’s my link. Hope it helps.

Do you have Microsoft Framework 3.5 SP1 installed? If not, here is the link:

If you do have it installed, go to add/remove programs, highlight it and above should be a repair option.
