Help for command prompt Tweak and tricks

the general way I learnt to use the command prompt was
1. find some problem that would normally need a custom bit of software to solve (batch copying files is a good place to start)
2. google to find a solution
3. study the solution until you know how it works
4. repeat from 1 until step 2 is unnecessary
However, you would probably be better off using Powershell instead of the vanilla command prompt, Microsoft have said that they dont intend to improve the command prompt much, and that they recommend people use Powershell instead
