Help! error in windows XP

hi!!!
when my pc start i get this error:

Translation in English: the instruction in “0x1000250b” makes reference to the memory in “0x00000000”. The memory couldn’t be written. can anyone tell me what is the problem please?

I guess it’s a memory problem..it occurs when the memory settings are wrong in the BIOS, faulty memory stick or loose…first if you have 2 memory sticks..try to swap them over..if you still get the error…try one memory stick at the time…

Harsh problem. What happens is that the process made a call to a memory space/slot/direction and couldn’t find it, so the process couldn’t be completed. I dont know if what said can fix that, but try that.
Although the real problem, i believe, is that your OS has problems managing memory when trying to compile(=run) that specific program. When you run a program, the OS detects the needs of memory and resources is needed, and it executes the order of assigning memory space/slot/direction to the program meanwhile it is running. In your case the OS couldn’t assign that memory space/slot/direction.
I guess i would try to repair my OS.
Just my n00bish thoughts. Hope you understood what i tried to tell ya.
