Help! Bioshock Bug!

Some I was played the original Bishock (im not talking about bishock 2 or somethin), and ive got this bug:

It’s a bug where when you open the safe, theres nothing inside which prevents you from going any further in the game and it seems theres no sure way to fix it…
Any Ideas?

I had this bug as well. Luckily I had an earlier save and went back to it. I updated to v1.1 and made sure I didn’t have the scavenger tonic equipped. It seemed to work.
