I always pick the main movie option, for better quality.
Magic DVD Copier – 8 files
CloneDVD – 83 files
They both play and produce audio, video, ect. But that is a big difference in files from 2 different programs. If I were to manually select the files needed for a perfect copy, what files do I need? Obviously you need the main VOB files, what else…
All I want is the main movie, and AC3 6 audio. I don’t want subtitles.

list the file from Magic DVD
that sounds about right
you should have 2 .bup & 2 .ifo anf 5 .vob files

Thanks, I figured out why CloneDVD had so many files. I accidentally chose the English subtitle option. But thank you for responding.

Quick question, is AC3 6 really needed if you don’t have a surround sound system? If you’re just watching it on the TV, wouldn’t AC3 2 be the best choice? And save you a little bit of space as well. Let me know, thanks.

I always use it for compatibility
then add AC3 6 if I want it, have the space for it

I noticed on some programs, there are two options for the same thing.
[0x81] English AC3 2ch
[0x84] English AC3 2ch
Is there a difference between them?

1 is probably a commentary track

So the one directly below the 6ch, is the correct 2ch?

normally it’s the 1st 2ch listed, but you need to check to be sure
