HELLLP! AV.EXE !?

i just keep gettin this windows anti virus box popping up and automatically scanning my machine. its obviously a virus. im using super antivirus scanner, and when it scans it finds everythign then i clean it then reboot and its still there!! WTF so i found the AV.EXE file that apparently was the source and i deleted it from the search menu
now everytime i open something, anything, IE exploer firefox, windows media player, i need to find the folder of the programme and find its original .exe file to open it, for example i need to find firefox.exe before i can open the browser, can any1 help me ?? Thanks

Super Anti-virus scanner? Never heard of that one before.
Try scanning it with a portable virus scanner like Dr.Web CureIt and/or Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool along with MalwareBytes and portable SUPERantiSpyware.

After it cleans out any infection, use a reputed and trusted Anti-virus.

That’s why the portable versions were suggested.
It seems like the virus has screwed around with your registry and now all the links to the correct exes are corrupt.
I’d suggest ESET once you’ve got everything fixed and up and running, although it might take a format and windows reinstall to do that.

If nothing helps…format your PC or reinstall your OS….and after that install a decent Anti – virus…i suggest Avast…its good…KAV is also good…
