Probably won’t do any harm.
What monitor connection were you using, VGA ?
VGA is more prone to interference than HDMI or DVI.
If running a monitor, try keeping the monitor and charger and their cables well separated..

Under warranty? Send it back and get a good one. Like $10 more for a good one. They meet all the standards, look for all the white approved stamps on it. I hope it’s not a universal one. Universal anything is probably no good except for The Universe. With Google you can find the exact one, do your homework. Laptop voltages vary so a “universal” is not good.. BTW, that screen thing ? Does it happen ONLY when you plug power in? Does it do that when you tilt the screen a couple times? Just wondering, add to message if so. Google is my friend

it was vga connection with monitor .. and yea when i removed the charger, the monitor became ok …. and the charger voltage wattage n amp is same as original one ..
the cables were close to each other .. like the connection points are just 3 inch apart…
