Laptop Without Battery but charger plugged in

Ok guys i wanted ask
I got a laptop and i took out battery but plugged in charger and laptop is working fine
Is this good or bad and will it damage the laptop

that’s not a problem and will cause no damage to the laptop

This is absolutely fine and wont cause any damage to the laptop at all. Just remember that when you remove the charger without the battery in the laptop it will immediately lose power and therefore switch off.

My battery drains soo fast. So I don’t think i will use the battery anymore. When ever I use laptop I will plug in charger

This isactually the recommended method of running a laoptop o mains power continually – charge battery to about 80%, switch off and remove it, leav emains plugged in and restart laptop.

Actually you see laptops run that way often in demo areas to stop people walking away with the battery. Thos I suppose those companies aren’t too concerned about how long the demo units last.

Don’t keep the battery out for too long though. If you stop using it, that might damage the battery.

The battery is dead soon. Cuz it drains soo fast now lol
