Hard Drive Failing any chance of fixing?

August 7th, 2016

I got a 1.5 TeraByte Hard Drive that is reporting that its going bad and to replace it soon.
Now im not share if its just a few bad sectors or clusters on it maybe software could correct?
Anyone have any recommended ideals if there is a chance I can save my drive?

Answer #1
get the data before your hard drive fails. If your disk failed but it in the freeze for 5 mins then pop it back in. That does the trick for me if i really need to get important data off. You could spend a few hundred to have the reader be replaced. But cheapest route. Grab important data off first, then the other crap. then just redownload the rest. Google the harddrive freezing trick first before doing it. I’ve done it enough time that I’ve saved a few of my hd’s and friends as well.
Answer #2
go to the drives website and get the diagnostic utility for the drive and see what that says
Answer #3
Better backup your data before it’s too late
and have it replaced,Don’t wait for the worst
to happen.
Answer #4
HDD Regenerator
Answer #5
HDD Regenerator, doesn’t always work. I bet his problem has to do with the reader.
Answer #6
HDD Regenerator is the best option…I fixed many drives with tons of bad sectors…A year on they still running fine…
Maybe you been using HDD Regenerator the windows version…
Hiren’s BootCD > Hard Disk Tools > HDD Regenerator
