google chrome 502 bad gateway

August 8th, 2016

I’ve edited the hosts file to add:
119.42.146.34 www..org
119.42.146.34 .org
119.42.146.36 www..org
119.42.146.36 .org
119.42.146.37 .org
119.42.146.37 www..org
5.79.83.241 img9..org
5.79.83.241 img10..org That didn’t work. Wasn’t working before the hosts file change. No idea how to fix.

Answer #1
Edit the host file once again and remove those IPs as those are for the old server and will not let you connect here.
To remove those IPs assuming you have windows.
1. Right click over notepad and select run as admin.
2. go to file and select open and browser to the host file making sure all files is selected. Host file will be located here C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc.
3. Remove all IPs
4. Save the file and do not use save as is.
After that clear your browser data on chrome as suggested in the 502 topic in Forum comments.
