or buy this from a fellow arez-bb user but before i decide can anyone tell me if the pc he is offering will be able to hanlde games like darkest of days, COD MDW2 and mass effect?
I wouldn’t consider that PC at all for gaming. As the title says, it’s a media centre entry level PC, not a gaming PC. As a bundle it’s pretty good value but not for gaming.

i know it says that- but as ive never had a gaming pc befor ei wasnt sure what specs to look for which is why when he told me it would suit my needs i came here to ask others
EDIT: some other users suggested i make my own and they suggested these specs for my budget

so how about that? will that be good enough to play games like i listed above?
The 2nd option you posted should be fine to handle modern day games, The Ati 5770 is a nice card but if u have the money to spare i recommenced you spend a little more and go for a 5850 as this will further future proof you. The am3 955 quad black edition is a monster of a processor i have it in my pc and i recommend it highly. I also surprisingly have that exact power supply and i find it handles my rig without and issues. Also i recommend the ocz ram show their as its a good manufacturer. Basically that build will do you perfectly for gaming and you will have some cushion for future games just don’t forget a nice big hard drive to hold all the games u plan to get.
well i cannot afford the 245 for the 5850 and im going to use the hard drive from this computer, so will that one i listed be able to play games even the likes od call of duty modern warfare 2?
again sorry if im being persisten with the questions, but before i spend my budget i want to know im getting what i need
thanks for the help so far
Yes, the computer you just listed will be able to play all the newest games. Not necessarily on the highest settings depending on your screen resolution but far better than the original PC you linked.
