Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo-M7400 Wi-Fi Problem in Windows Vista

August 7th, 2016

I install Windows Vista Starter on this laptop. Only Wi-Fi not working. I can’t enable it. Driver installed.
EDIT:
I have the same problem in Windows 7 Starter.

Answer #1
Anyone?
Answer #2
Each laptop manufacturer have their own hotkey/function keys software, You need to find the particular one for yours if you want the wireless to work (The physical WIFI on/off button won’t do anything if it’s not installed!)
Answer #3
I found this.
1. Download the latest network adapter driver from the manufacturer website and install it in compatible mode. If the issue persists, please temporarily disable the adapter and re-enable it again for a test.
2. Verify relevant service
a. Click “Start”, go to run, type “services.msc” (without quotation marks) in the open box and press Enter.
b. Click Continue button to verify the administrator permission.
c. Right click the “Network Location Awareness” service and choose Properties.
d. On General tab click Start.
e. Choose Automatic next to Startup type.
f. Click OK.
3. Restart the computer in Safe Mode with Networking for a test.
EDIT.
I have enabled this already.
