Free host for wordpress

There are literally thousands of hosts.
Can anyone name a few of what you consider the best, maybe from personal experience or something/features that only the few provides for free.

Definitely give a shot to 000-web-host.com. I’ve used it on my site’s early stages and I was quite happy with what they offered!
ps. remove the dashes from url. It parses it as spam
