October 10th, 2013

Has anyone found a similar extension for chrome that works like flashgot?
I use Jdownloader for my download manager but what’s a good way to download multiple links in google chrome?
I’m trying to move away from firefox because its a memory hog.

Maybe it’s just a certain add on that’s making your firefox use up a lot of ram.
Disable them one by one and see which one it is.
Mine uses about 100+ ram.. with a bunch of add ons.
I’d just get more ram.
But I’d use opera before I’d use chrome.
Chrome makes a ton of outgoing connections to google. What’s it telling google?
mmmmm me google.. chrome.. nomes wat yee do en. LOL!

Well i’m on a netbook with 4 gb of ram, so upgrading the ram is no longer an option.
I’ve made the switch over to chrome and got myself a nice extension that works similar to flash got.
Thanks guys

You should only worry about memory when you have got 256MB ram!
Answer #10
You should definitely clean up your firefox.
Some chrome extensions don’t do as well as their firefox counterpart.
It’s the exact reason why I have both browsers on my laptop
Answer #11
I have no addons in firefox running. I just opened up firefox, went to my gmail, facebook, twitter, and warez. Bam up to 200 mb ram already.
