FLASHGET 3.3 HELP!

August 5th, 2016

Hi so i downloaded and installed Flashget 3.3 and I am very happy with it, like it downloads with speed from 1mbps-3mbps, and I’ve never had those speed ever before so it’s amazing, but the only problem is, that whenever I copy links, it never pops up, so i have to manually copy each link individually and go to Flashget and click New, etc. etc., and in my settings, General Settings>Monitor> I have everything ticked.
Whenever I try to click “Add Firefox Support Components”
I get this screen:

So I don’t know….
And also how can I make it remember my Rapidshare account?
So I don’t have to type it in everysingle god damn time?
Thanks so much in advance!

Try re-installing FlashGet. See if that re-integrates FlashGet with Firefox.

Usually for me, a restart fixes that problem.

As for the other problem. Do you have the firefox add-on “flashgot” installed? If you have, you just highlight the files you need then click on the Flashgot icon in the toolbar

Flashget is adware ridden. I use an old version (not the one on the Flashget site as that is now adware ridden too) FlashGet 1.73 which is clean of adware. But the older version doesn’t work well with RS and wastes lots of bandwidth unfortunately, the new version could be the same but I disliked that so much it didn’t last long on my PC. No other d/l manager has come close to Flashget 1.73 for me, it’s just unfortunate about the RS bandwidth. But as I very rarely use RS for downloads, it’s not a problem for me.
Try using the Firefox File->Open option to open Flashgot. It should allow install of the extension, or click the install button on the Mozilla extension site.
