FFDSHOW gaming problems :(

I installed the k-lite codec pack thing which came with ffdshow, i went to play swat 4 and when i opened it it said would you like to turn on ffdshow i didnt really know so i said yes, but when i did the 3D environments will load the 3D animations will work but the loading screen is uncompleted and not playing the menus arent showing up theyre invisible, so i uninstalled swat reinstalled same problem i uninstalled ffdshow still the same problem i took swat 4 of the ffdshow list and put it on the do not use list and then i took it off both the lists completely and i still get the same problem. This is really bugging me cause its happening with my other games. Can anyone help?

you have a system restore point from before installing k-lite
swat 4 work before u installed k-lite ?
any idea what file is not playing correctly ? to figure out what codec the error occurs in
if so
get GSpot Codec Information Appliance
it’s here http://www.headbands.com/gspot/
open your file in it and it will give you the codec info
then just d/l or reinstall just that codec
if your not sure which file try open some files in the video or frontend folder, if they are there, in the game folder

it worked before klite kodec pack yes but ive uninstalled everysingle codec that came with k lite as well and it still doesnt work

k-lite may have overwritten something that a reinstall of the correct codec might repair
