Easy app for use to reduce video size?

I have video clips from parties and they are very big. I need some easy app for use just to reduce total file size. I need to cut some scenes which are boring. I had before some app which can do that. But when i cut it then i have to join them with other app. I want app where i select from A to B which i do not want into that video and to cut it.

I use ProShow Gold , you add all the video to the bottom line you take out what you dont want ,you can add transitions and once you have finished your editing you can burn it using there menus and ETC
