Got my sons xbox360 modded, 1.61, got call of duty downloaded, got the tdk 8x (ritek?) dl discs, but i keep getting that optimum power calibration error. tried to upgrade burners firmware, and i’ll be darned if it can’t find my usb connected burner. sees the hard drive ok though. toggled off the op box in imgburn, same results. am at my wits end. should i just upgrade my burner? it’s 4 years old, a lite-on dvdrw shw-160p6s, and chuck the TDK’s, although they were expensive. a side note: using dllplazabernd’s tutorial for burning and noticed he is using older version of imgburn. need any and probably all advice.

solved. bought a new burner, works fine.
