Rightclick on your desktop and click refresh, maybe it would show, it does for me sometimes. (What browser are you using btw)
Answer #2
Tryed that and it didnt work.
It is the latest internet Explorer
Answer #3
Try double checking the path, if that doesnt work, I have no idea. You can try using a download manager such as Flashget or use FireFox as your browser.

Once or twice I downloaded files that were ‘hidden’ and while they did indeed exist on the desktop it was impossible to view them until the Folder Options had been set to show hidden files and folders. It sounds like you have tried and failed with a number of different files and certainly the chances of them all being hidden are slim. You might try downloading something into a folder on the desktop then when it completes downloading it would be easier to view the properties of that folder in order to confirm something was actually inside it.

If your using fire fox then there has to be a download menu. When a download is finished then you can see then icon on this menu (Ctrl+j). There will be an option Open on the menu it self. This could help you locate the file.
