Delete info from CD

August 5th, 2016

I have this CD which I tried to burn somthing in to it but it failed so I did’nt use that CD for a while now.
Now I’d like to try deleteing everything in this CD.
When I tried doing that with UltraISO it failed and said “Data is not rewriteable” or somthing like that.
So is there any way I could use this CD again?

Your Disc Is CD-R, Not CD-RW, Therefore You Can Not Delete (Erase) Everything On The CD!
Only CD-RW Can Be Erased And Burned Again!

Maybe It depends? If this is an ordinary CD/DVD, then unfortunately you can not erase it, because you can only write it once or more times(multisession disc). If it’s a rewriteble CD/DVD, then you can.
Everything you have to do is go to the program in which tyou burn your media and click it on ERASE DISC.
Try with Nero 10 or Ashampoo Burningrom 10.

But the thing is: It’s not like 1 single cd costs 100$, so I’d say trash it.
