Does any of this make sense to you? Crash dump directory: C:\Windows\Minidump
Crash dumps are enabled on your computer.
On Mon 05/08/2013 2:10:48 PM GMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\080513-34991-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x80640) Bugcheck code: 0x1A (0x41790, 0xFFFFFA80043D17E0, 0xFFFF, 0x0)
Error: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
product: Microsoft Windows Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This indicates that a severe memory management error occurred.
This might be a case of memory corruption. More often memory corruption happens because of software errors in buggy drivers, not because of faulty RAM modules. The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time. On Mon 05/08/2013 2:10:48 PM GMT your computer crashed

description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This indicates that Microsoft Windows or a kernel-mode driver accessed paged memory at DISPATCH_LEVEL or above.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem. The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

Answer #1
It looks as though you might have some faulty or dying RAM. Check this link out:
http://www.sevenforums.com/bsod-help-support/56703-bsod-windows-7-ntoskrnl-exe-dump-file.html
For future reference, normally a search for the file path + dump will reveal some results. So in your case “ntoskml.exe”.
Hope that helps. Sorry it might not be a free solution.
Answer #2
I would run memtest to see how many errors (if any) appear.
Answer #3
I would run memtest to see how many errors (if any) appear. The guy on the post I linked to said he ran all the tests and they came back clear, but when he tried some different RAM it solved the problem – so they’re not always accurate…
Answer #4
Upload the dmp file here:
http://www.osronline.com/page.cfm?name=analyze
And see what details it can glean.. then repost here.
Important info is missing:
What were you doing at the time of the crash – gaming? which game.. video work, 3D rendering, just browsing.. watching a porno?
Did it crash to desktop or reboot the computer?
Have you checked the fans for dust bunnies?
Have you checked the HS smart record for any problems?
Have you added any new hardware in the previous few days or so?
Answer #5
check your temperatures , especially the motherboard/chipset temp
Answer #6
All temps are in the green between 39 and 47 and these crashes happen randomly no matter what I’m doing… Even if the PC is idle… I have new RAM installed, it hasn’t solved it. Before, it was saying System 32 was the problem, so I wiped my hard drives and installed a new Windows, this time I have those Errors.
Answer #7
i was having similar trouble, check event viewer. bug check errors indicate ram, ntfs errors indicate hd. disconnect and reconnect hd and ram. worked for me
Answer #8
Hmm, I should also point out, if I try to extract a file, it is corrupt on this PC but works fine on another, and Firefox constantly crashes on this PC as does Chrome, I thought it was the old OS but the new OS is the same… I have 4 RAM sticks all brand new and I have taken apart and cleaned the whole computer and installed a fresh layer of Thermal paste! Still I have issues… Now it’s stuck on installing updates
Answer #9
Try this:
Take out all but one stick of ram and run on that for a day or so.
if it crashes, take it out and put stick #2 in and redo the test – mark #1 as “suspect”.
If it doesn’t crash, ADD stick #2 and re test.
Keep adding or swapping out the ram as you go along.

if you ID a “suspect” stick(s), stick it/them back in (without the good ones) and rum memtest for about 8-12 hours, just to see.

It might also be a conflict between the sticks – are they all identical?
Answer #10
PC specs might help
cleaned the whole computer
you removed any add-in cards as well ?
their contacts can be cleaned with a clean pencil eraser
Answer #11
Right, basically I did what I do every 6 months or so, took it apart, blew all the dust out with low pressure compressed air, cleaned the Fans, and the heatsinks, and for good measure this time I added a new layer of Thermal Paste.
There isn’t a spec of dust in there lol.
