i am sure how to classify this problem, but i’ll try: i use a belkin wireless antenna to connect to a broadband modem from a friend down the hall in our veteran’s home. the signal disconnects and i must open the network option in the control pa, go into the wireless networks and remove a network then reconnect with my adapter. is there a program that will lock the network my adapter is tuned to, or do i have to use special settings to program the belkin? i am not a computer-minded sort, so i just used the belkin disk to install and setup automatically and am not comfortable enough to enter any frequencies or programs that would destroy any connection has. so if there are any suggestions or tips, i would be greatful. thank you for your time.
