Choplifter HD issue

I installed Choplifter and it works fine but when closing an error message pops up. Something with net framework, it cant access usersettings.xml.
I dont have that file, thats weird.
It does not save settings, which does not matter to me, but I dont know why, and more important is that framework keeps running in the background after then. Like a few hundred mbs I think. I just mean, when playing Skyrim after Choplifter on my laptop, I need every mb. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Install latest .NET Framework and try again.
