Choosing a new cellphone

I was thinking about buying a new phone for the start of the New Year. And as all of you guys know there are plenty of mobile phones on the market nowadays. So I find it hard to choose from. Can you guys help me out a little? I was thinking that I would spend up to a maximum of 400$.
I also thought about buying my phone on deal extreme, there definitely the cheapest and they have free shipping. I bought some goodies there a while a go, and I was very pleased about the service etc. Do you guys think that’s a good idea, and why or why not?

Does any of you have experience with e-smokes? Are they any good and as satisfying as smoking tabacco? I would buy the Samsung Galaxy S2 hands down, the other two phones won’t be as good compared to the S2. Not to mention that the S2 has a lot of communities creating custom ROMS and custom stuff for the OS. So in terms of how long each phone would last, I did say the S2 is more worth your money. And sorry never used e-smokes before, I heard they are bad for you.

But, the xiaomi m1 has better specs as the galaxy s2, doesn’t it? + the m1 comes with MIUI wich should be better, faster and less energy consumption. no?
(and i guess e-smokes aren’t as bad for you as regular cigarettes =p)
I have Galaxy S2 and i suggest it.
SGSII among the one’s you’ve mentioned. my friend has it , it has a large screen + 1.2GHz processor and the internal memory is massive
The galaxy SII seems to be the most popular.
But still the xiaomi m1 intreges me.
+ it has a 1.4 Ghz processor and a much larger battery as the Galaxy SII
so i’m still not quite sure..
Don’t be fooled, Galaxy SII has one of the best specs, believe me it is is more worth it.
but the m1 costs 90 $ less (i know, the link says otherwise but the’ll change it soon)
