I happen to know the Director of Sever Side issues on Windows Live messenger in the Southern Hemisphere. he says(msn convo:):
so everything should be ok if your down in the southern area of the world.

MSN has always been buggy, but I know webcams should be working. Perhaps its not compatible with your computer (the webcam)
Maybe you need a different MSN version? other than that I have no idea. I had to change my hotmail because everytime I tried to log into MSN with it, it froze.

I dont have the same problem…he hacked my account and talks to him self on it VERY WEIRD
