Can’T decide which earbuds to buy

March 19th, 2014

Hi guys,
I’m looking to buy some good in-ear earbuds. My budget is about 100-150 $
I’ve been looking at some models and the ones that stood out are:
Klipsch Image S4 Headphones

Monster Turbine

Shure SE215

I can’t decide which ones I should get, so:
1) If anyone has used these, which are the best? Also, if there is any other model fitting my price range i should check out please let me know
2) I’m looking for a site that has decent prices and ships to the US. The ideal payment processor would be Alertpay, but Paypal is ok as well.

I know this is out of your price range. But you might think about saving a little for them. Ear buds are complete crap. If you want the best possible sound reproduction available today, you need in ear monitors.

Starts at $400 bucks, but remember, you can’t purchase another set of ears for any price, however, you can preserve them.

Decide for yourself. This guy is the absolute king of IEMs. He owns 195 of them.

I bought a set of Shure SE535-V-EFS a while back as it was an offer I couldn’t refuse, however, I also got a cheapo set of Creative EP-630 (£8) which has much better bass response.

*Edit – I think you also have to bear in mind the output quality of whatever device you are using.
eg. I can use a great set of headphones on an iPod Touch – sounds fairly decent, but using an old Creative mp3 player with EAX and an £8 pair of headphones is much better.
