Can you use dvd shrink for isos

can you use dvd to shrink isos to put on 4.7gb dvds for example gta iv dvd isos can they be shrinked to 4.7gb?

no you can put iso’s into dvdshrink but only dvd files or video ts folders

The whole idea of an ISO is that it’s a disc image and is written to a disc ‘as-is’ If you ever wanted to compress it, you’d need to take it back a level so you’ve just got the raw files and then compress those before then making a new ISO data iso will be diff than a video iso
best bet is to try to burn it to a dvdr dl

It won’t be possible to simply shrink a game iso…..only way of decreasing the size of a game is ripping out irrelevant parts of the game and any ‘dummy’ files..which requires a bit of know how.
Unless you know how to do this….your best bet is to download a ripped game or burn to a DL.
However DVD movies can be shrunk with DVD Shrink.

I use DVD Shrink all the time to edit and shrink iso files.
