Can Samsung T220p actually support 1080p? (full hd)

August 5th, 2016

I know it can reach the resolution that is needed, but, still, the connection is through a DVI connector.
Answer #1
Yea all monitors can… well if the computer can handle it
Answer #2
Yeah, the computer can. The thing I was worrying about was the connecting.
Can a DVI connection transfer full hd? If so, what is really the purpose of an hdmi connection?

no, not all monitors can support a resolution that high. it’s not up to the computer either, it’s up to the video card drivers and all nvidia and ati drivers can support resolutions well beyond 1080p. 1080p is simply 1920×1080 resolution. almost all LCD monitors made in the last 4-5 years can support it.
Answer #4
yes, Resolution : 1920 x 1200 but if you wanted to use a Blu-Ray player or other HD device you will need HDCP support.
Answer #5
So if I can get to 1920 X 1200 then I can see full hd the same as it will be on an LCD television with FULL HD support?
