Can i burn 8 gb dvd…?

Hello,
i just downloaded a mac os x bootable image, around 6.36 gb single bootable file.
I have hp compaq i5 laptop.
So my question is ”Can my laptop write 6.36 gb image to 8 gb dvd ????? ”
Does this dvd writer is compatible to write n read an 8 gb dvd ????
Please help me …

It depends on the DVD drive; if it supports dual layer DVDs AND can burn, it should work.

What’s the model number of your laptop?

you Put a 8GB Dvd if its read then u confirmed its works or not. new all laptop coming with Dual Layer so should be works with your laptop. o you tell me the model No of your laptop.
