Call of Juarez: The Cartel save problem

Well, simply when I quit the game, I lose all of my progress and have to start again next time I start the game. Anyone knows how to fix this? It looks like it’s the problem of the crack, but I’m not sure.

Nope..I played the whole game using the Skidrow crack..Must be hardware related..

Well, I saw some people mention the same problem in some torrent sites, so there should be a solution for it.
