Call of Duty World at War Co-op need help

OK, here is the problem. I want to play Co-op with my friends over the internet via hamachi. I found some posts about this and I tried them but they are confusing and it didn’t work. We both installed Hamachi 1.0.1.5 and we downloaded the LAN FIX #1 from gamecopyworld. We copied the crack to the game directory. Now we both connect to a server in hamachi and open the game and it didn’t work. Can someone please post a very detailed instructions of what to download, what to put where, and also what buttons do the hoster and the others press in the game??? I would very appreciate it cause all the other posts are hard to understand. Do you need to be online or what? Thanks for the help!
Oh and another problem. Almost every time I open the game, my profiles disappear or something and my stats are reset. I read in others posts that this happens if you load the game with an internet connection. This one is annoying but isn’t that important cause I just downloaded a level unlocker for singleplayer, and I dont play multiplayer (cod 4 multiplayer owns this)

Disable windows firewall. VERY IMPORTANT.
If you are on XP the only compatible version of Hamachi that will work with CoD5 is version 1.0.0.50
Install CoD5 v1.1 Official patch. Then install lan fix and use v1.0 crack if you like.
Make sure all machines are running same hamachi version, and make sure non have windows firewall on.
Also, if you are on vista you may want to try FileHippo.com to get the lowest/oldest vista compatible hamachi version. I believe it is 1.0.0.69B

EDIT: so I will patch the game and still use 1.0 crack.
on gamecopy world there is 4 game tools
* Call of Duty: World at War v1.1 PRIVATE SERVER PATCH

* Call of Duty: World at War v1.0 LAN FIX #1
So I just download one of the LAN fixes and copy it to directory and run it?
Are those PRIVATE SERVER PATCHS connected to CO OP and do I need any of them?
Next thing, how do you host and connect? The hoster clicks on CO OP and does Host LAN and then waits for players? Then the connecter presses find game and checks for games on LAN? I just want to get this all clearly understood cause there so many variables that might be the cause of the problem. Thanks for the help m8.
